Viilu is a sauna-restaurant combination in the Port of Jyväskylä, opened in June 2022. With us, you can enjoy great food, relax in the sauna, and celebrate well into the night.
Viilu’s location is one of the best Jyväskylä has to offer. The City Centre and the Travel Center are right next door, as are other services in the ever-developing Port of Jyväskylä. The popular Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki, Original Sokos Hotel Alexandra and event center Paviljonki are only a short walk away.
We serve food that is thoughtfully crafted yet never overcomplicated. We take pride in using domestic ingredients and filling the table with authentic flavours in a relaxed way, without compromising on quality.
Our restaurant offers seating for around 100 guests, and in summer it is complemented by a spacious terrace. We embrace all four seasons and let our menu evolve accordingly. We recommend booking a table in advance.
Our sauna world features three saunas of different styles and sizes, offering unique and high-quality sauna experiences. During your sauna session, you can take a dip in the lake or enjoy the Jacuzzi, both in summer and winter. Come and support your mental and physical well-being, both in everyday life and celebrations, surrounded by joy and relaxation.
Both business guests and private individuals are warmly welcome. Staff parties, Christmas celebrations, trainings, weddings, birthdays – we can host them all. At the heart of every event is excellent food, prepared and served according to the same principles as in our restaurant. We tailor each event and menu to your wishes.
Our spacious and bright upstairs venue can accommodate up to 200 guests, offering magnificent views over Lake Jyväsjärvi. The space can also be divided into smaller areas when needed. Our meeting rooms are ideal for full-day meetings of 30 to 100 people, while evening events can be arranged for significantly larger groups.
